About this drama
A taut, grounded forensic thriller set in Los Angeles. Junior medical examiner Dr. Zoe Chen spots a nearly invisible pinprick on an unhoused Jane Doe — a tiny detail casually dismissed by her esteemed chief, Leonard Kane. Risking her career, Zoe leaks buried case files via seven anonymous letters, unraveling a 15-year serial killing spree covered up by institutional complicity. She ultimately brings Kane to justice, drives county-wide forensic reforms, and returns names to long-forgotten victims. This is a restrained, searing story of truth, dignity, and the quiet courage to notice what everyone else ignores.
